The people and purpose behind Heart of Life Rescue.
Our Story
Our Story
Heart of Life's journey in animal rescue began more than 25 years ago, leading to the establishment of Heart of Life Shelter around 15 years ago.
Based in Egypt, we help vulnerable dogs and other animals facing abandonment, injury, illness and difficult conditions on the streets.
Our mission is to provide care, veterinary treatment and a safer place for animals who need protection, while working to improve the lives of street dogs in Giza and the surrounding desert areas.
Why We Do This
Why We Do This
Street dogs face daily challenges, from a lack of food and clean water to illness, injury and cruelty. We believe every animal deserves compassion, dignity and the chance to live a healthier life.
We continue this work because so many animals depend on people willing to help.
